Dr. Nathan is Co-Founder and Managing Partner for Edu Alliance, UAE. Since the founding of the company in 2014, Senthil has been involved in numerous advisory & consulting projects for higher education institutions, and investment firms . He also serves as a subject matter expert for engineering firms in the field of campus planning.

He started his career as structural engineer for the renowned engineering consulting firm Walter P. Moore & Associates, Houston where he designed several important buildings including the third tallest concrete building in the USA – the 65 storied NCNB Tower at Charlotte, NC.  Relocating from Houston, Texas, he joined the Higher Colleges of Technology in 1993, the largest higher education institution in the UAE with 23,000 UAE National students. He served in a variety of positions as Dean, Campus President and from 2006-2014 was Deputy Vice Chancellor / Vice Provost for the system of 17 campuses across the UAE.  He has been involved in numerous advisory and consulting roles in education / training & development engagements to a multitude of clients in the United Arab Emirates, Canada, The United States, Africa, and India.  He is regularly invited to speak on the current issues of higher education in the Middle East.  He has published and presented extensively both on educational research and engineering research in international journals and conferences.

In addition to his Ph.D. in engineering from Rice University, Senthil has completed executive education programs from Harvard and MIT and Teaching certification from University of Cambridge, UK.  Dr. Nathan in 2014 received the Distinguished Alumni Award from the National Institute of Technology in India by the former President of India Dr. Abdul Kalam.  He serves as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for Livingston University in Uganda.

Mr. Hoke is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Edu Alliance North America a higher educational consultancy firm. Dean has decades of progressively responsible and visionary leadership roles in higher education, communications & eLearning. He has led a number of initiatives that have created innovation & positive change in the higher education & non-profit sector. He recently was appointed to the United States Distance Learning Association Board of Directors.

Dean began his career in 1975 with Bellarmine University and from 1983-1998 was a senior broadcast executive throughout the US. In 1998 he co-founded The Connected Learning Network a full service eLearning company and in 2009 accepted an invitation to move to the United Arab Emirates serving in senior positions at Higher Colleges of Technology & Khalifa University for the United Arab Emirates Advanced National Research & Education Network.

He has been involved in numerous advisory & consulting projects in international education, eLearning, branding, & business intelligence. He is an active speaker and writer in the field of international higher education and distance learning. He has presented and written on the field of leadership, higher education and distance learning including the United States, Turkey, Spain, Lebanon, Oman and the United Arab Emirates. Dean has his a Masters from the University of Louisville and a certificate in Leadership Management from the Wharton School of Business.
